The Art of Writing in the Dark

Scoteography is defined as "the art of writing in the dark." This, to me, is the perfect metaphor for most of my life's endeavors. Rarely do I forsee the outcome of my aspirations or act without sometimes crippling uncertainty. Indeed, I am often left in the dark, so to speak.

Nevertheless, despite not knowing what to expect from my life (or even this very blog), I find in myself a desire to remain steadfast and to continue writing the story of my life in spite of being in the dark about the outcome.

Thus, it is for this reason that I consider myself a scoteographer; for, my greatest desire in life is to learn how to live in the face of not having a clue what I'm doing—in short, I am determined to master the art of writing in the dark.
